Jupiter and its Galilean Satellites

Shot w/ a 300mm lens, no telescope.

Just getting into astrophotography, progressing from propping my camera on books last year to actually having a tripod this year. I was really pysched when I saw the moons, it was my 2nd shot of Jupiter and got the focus just right.

Note, Galileo managed to see all four of these moons back in January of 1610, almost exactly 400 yrs ago.
